How many times have you and I encountered a situation and felt, "there's no way out"? How many times do the burdens of life become so overwhelming and we feel we just cannot endure another problem. Bills are due, love ones are ill, spouses are unreasonable, jobs are few and far between, and the needs far outweigh the solutions. We are tired, we are stressed, we are lonely, we are sad, and we don't see a end to our pain. We wait for help to come, we beg, we plead, we try to reason or justify our situation, but the difficulty remains.
We experience problems that present themselves not only as difficult situations, but impossible situations. The doctor says there is no hope, the electric company will not wait, the eviction notice has been served, the bank account is overdrawn, and there is no food to feed your family. Difficult situations, but not impossible to overcome, even doctors can be wrong.
Lets take a moment and consider what the Lord can do. The Bible tells us of an incident where Jesus was speaking to a crowd which included 5000 men, this number does not account for the women and children that were also present. This was a big crowd that had listened to Jesus speak for most of the day and the crowd became hungry, but did not want to leave. The disciples told Jesus the people were hungry, and His response was, "feed them".
FEED THEM! Now this was a difficult situation that seemed impossible to solve! The only food available was from a boy who had little to offer, but the willingness to share. The boy had 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish, and the disciples knew that this would not feed this multitude of people, but they forgot they were with the One who could make the impossible become possible. All it took was a prayer and some faith and the crowd was fed. In fact after the crowd ate there was more left over then what they has originally began with. Now that is making the impossible, POSSIBLE!
Maybe some of you are in an "impossible" situation. The need far exceeds the resources. The strain and pressure far exceeds your strength. The dilemma seems beyond your reason, or intellect. Yet, we must remind ourselves, that which may be impossible to man, is possible to God.
Two things I ask you to remember. First, if God allowed the situation into your life, He knows that you can handle it. Second, it takes an impossible situation to see a miracle. WE SERVE A MIRACLE WORKING GOD! If we never had a problem, we would never know that God can solve it. Please, allow the One who can make the impossible become possible into your situation. It starts with a prayer and some faith. God will increase your faith, listen to your request, and do what He does best, which is make the impossible, POSSIBLE!
GOD BLESS
